Fine Art, Saudi Heritage, Modernity

Sketching phase
Sketches took place in the logo design process to explore a variety of options that visually present brand meanings in a useful, unique, and efficient logotype.

Logo Concept
The logo is inspired by the effect of a drawing knife, with the spirit of Arabic calligraphy, with heritage engravings that are abstract to serve the flexibility of using the logo for different media and sizes.
Colors
The colors were chosen to evoke a sense of luxury, authenticity, and tranquility, with purple taking the largest share in representing the identity, while lavender is used as a complementary secondary color, inspired by the color of official celebrations in Saudi Arabia.
The orange color was used to add contrast and another dimension to the color palette, representing passion, vitality, and creativity.
Visual Aesthetics
The heritage engravings were chosen in an abstract style to impart a heritage character and authenticity to the logo while maintaining modernity at the same time, and they were also used as a complementary secondary element to the details of the identity.
Typeface
Tajawal is a typeface that is based on the rules of Arabic calligraphy in a modern, and minimalistic style, relying on bold weights for main and subheadings, and regular weight for texts.
